Who is responsible for your data
The controller of personal data processed through chilissy.com is Aleksander Brzozowski, Warsaw, Poland. Contact: through the contact section on the homepage.
What data is processed and why
Contact form: your name (optional), email address and message. I use them only to read and answer your message and, if we decide to work together, to continue that conversation. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (my legitimate interest in answering enquiries).
Protection against bots: the contact form and the button that reveals my email and phone number use Cloudflare Turnstile. It checks technical signals from your browser (for example IP address and browser characteristics) to tell people from bots. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (security of the website and protection against spam).
Visit statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without identifying individual visitors. Technical data such as IP address are processed by Cloudflare only to deliver the website and the aggregated statistics. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Server logs: like every website, chilissy.com is delivered by its hosting provider, which briefly processes technical data (IP address, time of the request, browser type) to deliver and secure the site.
Who receives the data
Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, Turnstile, Web Analytics), Resend, Inc. (delivery of messages from the contact form, EU region) and cyber_Folks S.A. (my email inbox in Poland). They process the data on my behalf. Cloudflare and Resend are US companies, so data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area; such transfers rely on the safeguards required by GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
I do not sell your data, use it for advertising or make automated decisions about you.
How long data is kept
Messages from the contact form stay in my inbox for as long as needed to answer them and for any cooperation that follows, and no longer than 2 years after our last contact. Technical data processed by Cloudflare is kept according to Cloudflare's own retention periods.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to data portability. To use these rights, write to me through the contact section on the homepage. You can also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland).
Providing data in the contact form is voluntary, but without an email address I cannot reply.
Cookies and local storage
This website does not set its own cookies. It stores one technical note in your browser's session storage so the opening animation plays only once per visit; it disappears when you close the tab. Cloudflare Turnstile may use technical data strictly needed for the security check.
